So many supporters and allies have supported me in changing careers to the tech industry, and to become a successful leader. At the same time, I can see a significant lack of diversity in the tech industry. Code Blossom is for me a way to accelerate the “lifting each other up” movement, as well as to help increase diversity in tech.

It's a day that transcends borders, cultures and ideologies, uniting people around the world in the pursuit of gender equality. As we commemorate this important day, it's important to reflect on the progress that has been made and the challenges that remain in countries like El Salvador, Switzerland and Pakistan.
Where dreams take root
4 years ago, my friend Nadia - who decided to change careers to product/UX design - and I hired Sana, a coding bootcamp graduate who was looking to apply her newly acquired skills in real world projects. Since the very beginning, Sana has shown an immense curiosity in solving problems and a huge motivation to grow and learn. Her arrangement consisted of a mix of paid self study, as well as building real-world web applications for customers.
